ShaliPlus 20 is a polymeric waterproofing membrane. It has a centre core of 20 micron High Molecular High Density Polyethylene (HMHDPE) film coated on both sides with Polymer Modified Bitumen, which is protected by a thermo fusible film. The HMHDPE film is the reinforcement barrier against water and moisture .The polymeric membrane has an elongation exceeding 300% to absorb all structural movements and has a very high tensile strength and cold flexibility to adapt to all contours.

ShaliPlus 20 is also available with 40 micron aluminum topping on the topside to prevent disintegration of bitumen and provide UV protection.

Uses:

ShaliPlus 20 is recommended for water proofing of rooftops, basements and terrace gardens.
 

Method of Application:

• Clean the surface thoroughly to make it smooth.
• Apply a coat of ShaliTex Primer @ 0.3 ltr/sqm on the clean surface.
• This should be followed by a coat of hot applied STP Bitumen 85/25 @ 1.2 Kg/sqm.
• Lay and press ShaliPlus 20 on the hot bitumen.
• A minimum overlap of 75 mm to 100 mm is needed between the two rolls of membrane and should be sealed with blown bitumen.
• ShaliPlus 20 is to be topped with screed or tiles as the case may be.
